The on-screen interface

Trivial's mock emulator replicates the real exam interface; practise here until the layout feels automatic, so no cognitive energy is spent on navigation during the real test.

The question stem appears in the centre of the screen with the answer options listed below it. The countdown timer (running down from 40:00) sits in the upper-right corner. A question navigator, a small grid of all 27 question numbers, lets you jump to any question directly. Flagged questions appear visually marked in the navigator so they're easy to spot on return.

Scroll down before answering. The number of answer options varies per question; some questions have more options than fit on screen without scrolling. Missing the last option is a common avoidable error.

Diagrams and graphs appear embedded alongside the question stem when relevant. They are displayed on-screen rather than on separate paper. If a diagram is detailed or small, use your system's zoom function to enlarge it before reading.

Question navigator: clicking any question number in the grid jumps you directly to that question. This is the fastest way to move non-sequentially and the right tool for returning to flagged questions at the end of a module.

Next / Back buttons: step through questions one at a time in order. These are the natural buttons to use while working through the paper for the first time.

Flag for Review: marks the current question with a visual indicator in the navigator. Flagging does not clear your currently selected answer; if you've chosen option B and flag the question, B remains selected. You can change your answer any time while the module is still running.

Answers are saved automatically the moment you click an option. There is no separate confirm button; clicking an option saves it immediately. If you change your mind, click a different option and it overwrites the previous selection.
