When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your exam date and preferred ESAT modules.
As you use the platform we store your practice and mock exam activity: which questions you answered, your answers, timing data, flags, and scores. This is what powers your results and analytics.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never see your Google password.
We use your data to run the platform: signing you in, saving your progress, grading your attempts, and showing you your performance analytics.
We may send you transactional emails (such as account confirmation and password resets). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Your account and activity data are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Payments, when introduced, will be processed by a dedicated payment provider — Trivial does not store card details.
Trivial uses cookies to keep you signed in. These are essential for the platform to function. We do not use cookies for advertising.
You can view and update your profile information from your account settings at any time.
You can delete your account from account settings. This permanently removes your profile, attempt history, and responses from our systems.
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing of it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via the platform or by email before they take effect.
